“Exclusive Dropship Suppliers”
These exclusive dropshipping suppliers are just what the name implies…
They cap off their total number of accepted retailers of their products. They do this usually for reasons of protecting the reputation of their brand and pricing.
They also limit the number of dropship retailers because they get too many people who apply to their program and then don’t do anything to sell their products.
Exclusive suppliers are the wrong suppliers to apply to if you are just getting started.
They, like every other legit supplier, is looking for retailers who can move product.
They can be excellent suppliers to work with if you can get accepted with them because you will normally be entering into a retail market that is more exclusive. In other words, you will be one of the few who have permission to sell their products. Plus they’ll usually send you free traffic to your website, because they don’t do any retailing in many circumstances. They leave the retailing up to you, the retailer!
It takes a bit longer to follow up and to eventually secure these types of relationships with exclusive drop shippers, but it’s worth it!
